Unveiling of the Shantui 5-ton Forklift

Shantui’s state-owned factories in China are active in the production of forklifts and machinery, and they are well-known for manufacturing the undercarriages of Volvo, Komatsu, and Caterpillar machinery. Regarding forklifts, today Shantui Forklift Manufacturing Company is the major shareholder of Baoli Forklift in China. It is worth noting that Baoli is one of the three renowned products of the German Kion Group, which produces the brands Still, Linde, and Baoli.

The Shantui 5-ton Diesel Forklift, model SF50S, with an Isuzu 6BG1 engine from Japan and a powerful Kion gearbox, has been able to meet the needs of most customers. The Shantui 5-ton Diesel Forklift is equipped with a three-stage container mast, with a lifting height of 4 meters, and a side shifter. Since the front wheels are single, the width of the forklift is reduced, which enhances its maneuverability inside containers for the operator.
